Troubleshooting

What do I do if my account is locked?

When a User enters their password incorrectly 3 times or more they are automatically locked out.
The Administrator has permission to unlock user accounts.
If your administrator is unavailable for any reason, please contact us (select Broker Online enquiries) on 0330 221 0555 and we will arrange this for you.

To unlock a user:

The current Administrator logs in
Click “Manage User Accounts”
Locate the user on the user listing
Un-tick the “Locked out” checkbox

Note: The current Administrator user is exempt from being locked out.

What do I do if my account is inactive?

A User becomes inactive when they do not use Broker Online for 180 days or more, or the administrator makes them inactive.

To make a user active:

The current Administrator logs in
Click “Manage User Accounts’

Change the view option from ‘Show Active Accounts Only’ to ‘Show All’
Locate the user in the user listing
Tick the “Active” checkbox

What do I do if the message ‘User Already Logged In’ appears?

The agency Administrator must log in to Broker Online
Select ‘Manage User Accounts’
Find the user in the list
Un-tick the ‘Logged in’ box (below)

What if I forget my Username?

Your agency administrator can access a full list of registered users by:

Logging on to Broker Online
Selecting Manage user accounts
Clicking ‘Get Users List’

A full list of registered users will then be sent to the Administrators registered email address.

What if I forget my password?

Go to the Broker Online Log in page
Enter your Agency Number and Username
Click Forgotten Password

An email will then be sent to your registered address with your password reset instructions
